Dr.Luis Boza received his degree in general dentistry from Universidad Latina de
Costa Rica in 2002, completing the requirements for licensure in
general dentistry and surgery that same year.
Beginning his career as a general dentist in private practice, Dr.
Boza also provides dental services through Costa Rica's social
security system, and includes medical services administration and
supervision of dental services for Project Talamanca.
Dr. Boza first met Dr. Peter Aborn as his student in 1999 and over
time came to share Dr.Aborn's increasing concern about the extreme
deprivation of the Indians in Talamanca province. When Project
Talamanca was formed, Dr. Boza became one of its guiding forces
providing logistical support, direct care, supervision, and community
outreach to the project.
